She loved to travel with family explore new locales on the east or west coast seek new adventures in national parks venture international spend time outdoors patronize one of her favorite restaurants go for a long drive in one of the three convertibles she owned (two of which were her beloved Volkswagen Beetles) paint tweak, or redecorate a room in her home or even just make sure her yard, landscaping, lavender, and lilacs were pristine. As all of her friends will attest, Peggy had a quick wit, dropping a hilarious anecdote or remark when least expected. She could dazzle in glamorous evening attire as easily as she could sport one of her dozens of pairs of jeans and boots for an evening out at a concert, be fabulous in her favorite beachwear, or instantly be ready to head for the mountains in one of her favorite Sundance outfits. Peggy was known to paint, quilt, needle point, cross stitch, weave, sew, frame, whittle, build, do woodwork, stencil, design, and countless other new creations. She was super creative, always starting or finishing a new project. Peggy had an eternal one-of-a kind unique style. She would readily make friends, engage in meaningful conversation, and have people open up to her, whether it be a new coworker, an executive of a major corporation, a child on the school playground, or someone she had just met who was down on their luck - Peggy was very special. Peggy had a gift for making others feel comfortable. She deeply loved her boys and was always there for them, working relentlessly to make a wonderful home for them while welcoming and loving their significant others like one of her own. Peggy will be remembered for how much she nurtured and cared for those she loved and for her devotion to her children and family.
